The Louisiana AFL-CIO strives to better the lives of the men and women in Louisiana through education, training and apprenticeship programs, collective bargaining, legislative action and political action.
The struggle for human freedom is a continuous one.
The task of those who would bring security
and greater understanding to mankind
throughout the world is endless.
It is in this all-consuming struggle, however,
that people and organizations
make their contributions to a better life.
Racial persecution, intolerance, selfishness, and greed
have no place in the human family.
